Photos of a CP freight passing through Glacier B.C. Sept. 99.
Photo by Gordon Hall. This is just at the entrance of the 5 mile long
Connaught Tunnel completed in 1916 passing under Mount Macdonald. The
original railway wound back and forth across the valley, over
trestles to climb through Rogers Pass, many snow sheds were required,
slides were constant during the winter. Railway buildings are evident
in the 3rd photo.
