Riding the inaugural run of the Kamloops Heritage Rail trip from Campbell Creek to Armstrong, first trip in 50 years over this route. Behind steam engine #2141. More info. here. May 28.
May 29 we rode the Kettle Valley Railway behind engine #3716. We had a charter running east towards Faulder as far as the track would go the first run for 3716 on this section since it passed through as the museum train in 1977, before the regular run which new this year runs out onto the Trout Creek Bridge the highest on the former Kettle Valley railway.
