The West Coast Railway Association ran a 9 day private charter railtour in Sept. 2002 the annual trip but for 2002 using some of West Coast Railway Association equipment #4069 F unit for power and an open air observation car with some leased BC Rail equipment. The tour was to raise money for the Royal Hudson Steam engine rebuild.
